Job Description:

Alpine Aerotech LP (Kelowna, B.C.) is looking for an Avionics Instrument Technician. This job is a permanent full time position.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in overhaul and repair of pressure instruments including altimeters, air speed indicators and engine indicators. A working knowledge of gyroscopes and electro-mechanical meters will also be required.

Requirements:

• Experience troubleshooting electronic instrumentation down to component level
• The ability to work with small delicate mechanical parts such as meter movements with minimal supervision
• The desire to learn new skills, be self motivated, have an aptitude for electronics
• The ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good computer and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
