• Bell Helicopters 212 AFCS Bench Repair
  Alpine Aerotech Ltd. has added Bell Helicopters 212 AFCS bench repair to its list of capabilities. This capability includes the bench repair and testing of all three sensor amplifier modules and synchronizer control modules, as well as the AFCS control panel, the AFCS trim panel and the Parallel trim actuators.

• At the HAI 2009 convention in Anaheim, CA, Bell Helicopter recognized six Customer Service Facilities (CSF) as achieving Platinum level in 2008. The award was for excelllence in customer service and meeting various measurements in the Bell Achievement Ranking System (BARS). The presentation was made by Danny Maldonado, Sr. V-P of Customer Support and Dick Millman, President and CEO of Bell Helicopter Textron Inc. Alpine Aerotech Ltd was one of the six recipients. Two others from the USA, one from Taiwan, one from Sweden and one from Germany.
  
  
• New Bear Paw for Bell 205, 212, 412
  Constructed from high grade polymer for increased strength, durability, and higher abrasion resistance over a larger surface area, while maintaining a median weight of 15 lbs/side. Robust, corrosion free, high strength stainless steel clamping assemblies are designed for straight forward fitment and securing from the top side only. See Products
  
• New Hi-Cube Bell 212 Utility Basket
  Alpine Aerotech Ltd has received Transportation Canada STC SH08-57 for a utility basket
  installation for the Bell 212 medium helicopter. The basket is of robust construction
  and made in a manner that provides for field replacement parts, if necessary. The basket has a 300 lb weight limit and provides 32.84 cubic feet of capacity. This is between 30% and 100% more cube than other units on the market today. The extra cube was designed to accommodate the volume demands of large groups of snow boarders but has application
  in any helicopter operation requiring larger cube capacities. The basket will be exhibited at
  HAI at the Alpine Aerotech booth # 3761 in Anaheim, CA February 22-24, 2009. See Products
  
  
• Aerotech has received T.C. Approval STC SH06-31 for the Vertical Reference Seat Kit.
  The prototype was presented at the 2006 HAI convention in Dallas, TX. TC STC approval has been issued and FAA STC approval is expected in April '08. See Products
  
  
• Aerotech has acquired a large quantity (1400 line items) of Bell L-3 inventory (ex-Aramco),
  which includes many airframe, engine, component, and interior piece parts and assemblies.
  Also float, life raft and air conditionings systems are included in the package

AWARDS & RECOGNITION

At Heli-Expo 2006, Aerotech was given vendor recognition by Bell Helicopter for 8 years of on time, on schedule and no warranty issues throughtout a contract that concluded Dec 31/05. Aerotech manufactures the exhaust duct and the exhaust ejector/deflector assembly for the Bell 412 model.
