Alpine Aerotech Limited President Dick Everson receives the “Golden Data Plate Award” during the Helicopter Association of Canada (HAC) convention held in Vancouver, B.C., April 8-10, 2001. Paul Costanzo, President of Bell Helicopter Textron in Mirabel, Quebec and Don Maguire of Product Support Engineering presented the award in recognition of the initiative shown by Alpine Aerotech in support of the Bell Helicopter strategy to combat counterfeit aircraft. Mr. Everson voluntarily released to Bell Helicopter a number of aircraft data plates that were removed from crash damaged aircraft that, in Mr. Everson’s opinion, were not eligible for repair and return to service. By surrendering these data plates, Alpine Aerotech truly demonstrated their world-class commitment to best practices as a Bell Helicopter-authorized Customer Service Facility.
